Hi Dick,
We recently had a very co-operative Morepork on the Cape Queen Elizabeth Track
on Bruny Island (and Frogmouth). And THE Masked Owls at Port Arthur showed
BRIEFLY at the Hollow back in early Dec. - could possibly have been breeding?
Male left the hollow quickly and quietly just after dusk, and the female gave
one call at the mouth of the hollow about 5 min later, before ducking back in.

I don't have any other recent gen.

Devonport, Tas.
