An apparent WTNT movement in the last 1.5 hours of, mostly, individuals heading in a generally northerly direction. The flight appears purposeful and fast, sometimes with time gaps of minutes between birds flying overhead the property in Kobble Creek, SEQ. It's actually hard to say if it's the same birds doing a very wide loop back and flying over more than once and thus counted more than once. But if not, the estimated number of WTNTs that do appear to have followed this route overhead and away in a northerly direction in that time frame wouldn't have exceeded 40. -- Marie Tarrant Kobble Creek, Qld

Birding-Aus mailing list

To change settings or unsubscribe visit:
http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
|
