Thanks for posting that.
I wonder how useful it would be considering the number of birds in South
America having just been to a BirdLife meeting where the topic was Birding
Brazil, and having heard about the high number of endemics in Ecuador and
Columbia, for example. Having said that, however, I did see Rufous-collared
Sparrows in Ushuaia which I had seen in Costa Rica earlier in the year, and
also Turkey Vultures so some species do have extensive ranges.0
