Several people responded to my question about a bird app for Southern Argentina/Chile, so I'd just like to let them know that I did see quite a few birds at Ushuaia, including the attractive Black-faced Ibis, and although we couldn't get within helicopter range of the Emperor Penguin colony because of pack ice, I did see 4 individual birds on icebergs. The captain stopped the ship for two of them so that we could enjoy those Emperor Penguins for a time. One bird certainly towered over the two Adelies on the same piece of ice. Thanks again to those who responded.
