   Published sightings for the week ending 7 Dec 2014.

   Fri 5 Dec Cape Barren Geese Hadspen
   4 birds seen feeding in paddocks on the eastern entrance to Hadspen.
   Frank Wilson
   Banded Lapwing, Striated Fieldwren & Latham's Snipe Highclere,
   Hampshire & Lake Waratah
   A good days cycling/birding. 6+ Banded Lapwing approx 5 km SW of
   Highclere, then Striated Fieldwren on the approaches to Hampshire and
   finally a (possibly 2) Latham's Snipe at Lake Waratah.

   Tue 2 Dec Eastern Curlew Pelican Point, George's Bay, St Helens
   6 Eastern Curlew foraging at low tide on the mudflats. Red-necked Stint
   (flocks of approx. 40) also foraging in the same area.

   Fri 28 Nov Freckled Duck Goulds Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary
   Half a dozen birds roosting. Single Latham's Snipe flushed from west
   bank just south of hide.

   Sat 22 Nov Sharp-tailed Sandpiper Moulting Lagoon Game Reserve--Flacks
   Rd
   9 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper observed on the lagoon edge amongst the
   samphire (sarcocornia). 4 Pacific Golden Plover and 25 Red-necked Stint
   on mudflat foraging.
