Birdline South Australia Published sightings for the week ending 7 Dec 2014. Sun 7 Dec Diamond Firetail Halbury, 13km east of Balaklava 3 birds by small creek. A local resident has seen up to 5. Paul Taylor Fri 5 Dec Glossy Ibis Clayton Bay Three adult birds feeding in shallow water on the edge of wetland area south of Clayton-Finniss Road just on the outskirts of the town Martin Stokes Mon 1 Dec Semi-palmated Plover Carpenter Rocks This immaculate bird located quickly, initially on outer reef but then it appeared on beach just east of Pelican Point, and fed there peacefully along shoreline with red-necked stints, after some brief aggression from resident red-capped plovers.
