G'day AllIT is a long time since I have seen a white morph of the Grey Goshawk, but I saw one at the Thurra River Rest Area in far East Gippsland (Vic) last Monday. It was circling slowly of the forest just like a Grey morph would - but a lot more visible. Yes I was there looking for White-throated Needletails - but seeing some other birds while I waited was rewarding. Didn't see any feral cats this trip though.
