   Published sightings for the week ending 26 Oct 2014.

   Sat 25 Oct Pied Butcherbird National Film and Sound Archive, Acton
   Same bird, same place, been there for months now!

   Fri 24 Oct Australian Owlet-Nightjar Tuggeranong Hill
   First seen at 8.38am when we returned 40 minutes later the hollow had
   been taken over by mynahs
   Patrick Colmer and Pam Malone
   Brush Cuckoo, possible Black-chinned Honeyeater Mulligans Flat NR
   One Brush Cuckoo calling strongly 200m along the vehicle track that
   runs north from near the shearing shed. This or another bird heard
   again half an hour later. Also in this area a couple of distant calls
   from what sounded like a Black-chin, unable to confirm unfortunately.

   Tue 21 Oct Regent Honeyeater Tuggeranong Town Centre
   Single bird seen 5.20pm in flowering ironbarks next to Alpha Hotel
   driveway. Good views. Bird was being chased by red wattlebirds and flew
   off into nearby scrub 5mins after I arrived.
