I've recently visited Bald Rock and Kings Plains National Parks in north-east NSW and enjoyed some nice birds including Chesnut-rumped Heath-wren, Superb Lyrebird (edwardi race), Spotted Quail-thrush, Red-browed Treecreeper and Glossy Black Cockatoo. More information and pictures on these two blog posts.
