The bird was seen this morning from about 10.45. As everyone else has noted it just pottered about quietly. Today it was on rocks at the edge of the water. We watched it until nearly 12. Take the track towards the quarry truck and we saw it from a small lookout with a seat before the quarry truck and hide.

Best of luck.

Never having been to Mudgee I thought I would take the opportunity to head
up from Canberra and see if I could find the Citrine Wagtail on Monday and
Tuesday this week. Has anyone seen the bird in the last couple of days and
if so where? I have seen the species in Sweden, where it seems to be as rare
as it is in Australia, and in India so won't be devastated if I miss it.
Still, it would be nice to get it on my Australian list.

Many thanks,

Mark
