Never having been to Mudgee I thought I would take the opportunity to head up from Canberra and see if I could find the Citrine Wagtail on Monday and Tuesday this week. Has anyone seen the bird in the last couple of days and if so where? I have seen the species in Sweden, where it seems to be as rare as it is in Australia, and in India so won't be devastated if I miss it. Still, it would be nice to get it on my Australian list.
