Birdline North Queensland Published sightings for the week ending 17 Aug 2014. Mon 11 Aug Pied Imperial-Pigeon Paluma Forest Reserve 10' Cell 25 Pied Imperial-Pigeon Driving up Mt Spec Rd after leaving the Bruce Hwy a flock flew toward the north as we drove towards them. First flock seen by observers this season. Joan Wharton, Rosemary Payet Topknot Pigeon Paluma Forest Reserve 10' Cell 45 Topknot Pigeons seen at 3pm just south of Little Crystal Creek and north of Wolfram Creek. Sighting still to be entered into ebird. Also 1 bird seen in Paluma Village approx. 11.30am.
