Fri 15 Aug Eastern Barn Owl Australian National University
While looking for the Pied Butcherbird at the National Film & Sound
Archive, noisy Noisy Miners attracted me to a tree on the (western)
corner of Liversidge Street and Ellery Crescent in which an Eastern
Barn Owl was trying to avoid attention (17:15 h). [I got the Pied
Butcherbird 5 min later in a mostly leafless oak tree in the small car
park in the north-eastern side of the NF&SA.]
