Location: Toronto St, Ovingham
Eastern Spinebill (Acanthorhynchus tenuirostris) (1) This was in a grevillea
outside our front fence. Had a great view for a couple of minutes. I haven't
seen one in our suburb (next to Prospect) in the close to 30 years we have
lived here.

Date: Saturday, May 31, 2014
Location: Felixstow, Adelaide
Fan-tailed Cuckoo (Cacomantis flabelliformis) (1) First seen on neighbours
clothes line much to the distress of surrounding New Holland and White-plumed
honeyeaters, Red Wattlebirds and Noisy Miners. Later seen being chased out from
our almond tree by a Magpie lark.
Mistletoebird (Dicaeum hirundinaceum) (1) Seen in tree in front of house at the
same time cuckoo on line. Last saw Mistletoebird in that tree in 2011.

Eastern Reef Egret (Egretta sacra) (1) Single white morph bird, foraging on
rocks,about 300 metres south of the Heron Way Reserve

Location: Newland Head CP approx. 3 Km west of Kings Beach
White-bellied Sea-Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) (1) Single adult bird flew low
over the cliffs moving west and then was sighted inland being mobbed by Little
Ravens and chased off out to sea and then moving East towards West Island and
the Bluff.
