Hi Jenny When breeding at Bool Lagoon, Magpie Geese number somewhere around 3-4000 I believe. Where these birds go at other times is unknown but I suspect some of these end up moving into Victoria. There has also been in recent times a small breeding event at Piccaninnie Ponds (near the SA/Vic border). Hope this helps.
