One other factor one has to allow for in your budgeting when planning to go 
birding in Indonesian National Parks, is the compulsory "guide" fees. For 
example, in Tangkoko NP in Sulawesi, it is IDR 350,000 for the guide, plus IDR 
600,000 entry fee per person, per day which equates to around AUD 90, just to 
walk in the front gate.
