Crested Bellbird, Purple-crowned Lorikeet, White-fronted Honeyeater
Brookfield Conservation Park
A great morning today at Brookfield. Large numbers of Chestnut-crowned Babblers and Chestnut-rumped Thornbills. Crested Bellbirds (3) were seen foraging on the ground. No less than 100 Purple-crowned Lorikeets were found feeding in flowering eucalypts along the Mallee Drive.

Turn off to Gluepot Reserve in Taylorville opposite Christadelphian Hall
Flew across the bitumen road into the trees opposite the hall on the corner. Flushed as we drove back to the bitumen.

Bob Bon Station (north )
Three adult birds sighted on fence line in blue bush, buckshot landscape on this Bush Heritage property. Shy hard to obsreve but flew to open perch and good views obtained of the chestnut band. White-winged Blue Wrens also present. Private property - access only by arrangement with Bush Heritage.

Flushes from the side of the road as we drove through the adjacent station.

Small party of approx. 8 birds seen on southern boundary of town. On the roadside adjacent to large stand of pines where speed limit changes from 60-80kph.
