Greetings, Just home from discovering two Red-rumped Swallows roosting on the power lines near the toilets at the boat ramp end of the Tinaburra Peninsula. They are with about 40 Welcome Swallows, 25 Tree Martins and five Fairy Martins. Neither bird is as streaked as I recall from seeing in Indonesia and Newell Beach but they are more marked than the most streaked of the Tree Martins and of course the swallow tail and the rusty rather than white rump.
