We were at the T-section yesterday morning and I was impressed by
conspicuous drifts of a low-growing plant with mauve flowers growing
near the water at several lagoons. Can anyone identify it for me? I
didn't collect a specimen because I didn't want to disturb the waders there.
As well as the usual birds, we found a very nice Ruff - too far away to
photograph.
