One place has become available on a six day pelagic birding trip rounding the
southern coast of Tasmania in March. The trip leaves from Kettering, about 40
minutes south of Hobart and follows the shelf around to Port Davey on the west
coast, taking in Pedra Branca, Eddystone Rock, the Mewstone, the Maatsuyker
Group and Port Davey along the way, before returning to Kettering. The exact
itinerary/route may depend on the weather.

The trip leaves on the 14th March, returning to port on the 19th. Cost is
$2,050 per person which includes all meals (byo snacks and alcohol). The
vessel is the 57ft La Golondrina which is fitted with bunks a full galley,
separate shower and toilet. Bedding and towels are provided. A deposit of
$200 is required.

Please let me know ASAP if you'd like to be aboard. It's an exciting
opportunity to explore the seldom birded waters of Tasmania's south and west
coasts.
