Dear Editor, Last week this locally resident English Springer Spaniel has been playing havoc chasing the birds at Goulds Lagoon in Austins Ferry, Tasmania. It was hunting through the mud scattering the chicks of Spotted Crakes and Masked Lapwings. No Freckled Duck of Snipe were seen that day! Please report the dog to Glenorchy City Council if it is in the lagoon again.
