Managed to find Whicker Road on Google Earth. Off Grand Junction Rd on to Eastern Parade, under the freeway then first right into Whicker. Haven't been for a look yet but might go this arvo. Tony. --------------------------------------------- Date: Saturday, January 4, 2014 Location: Whicker Road Wetlands Ruff (Philomachus pugnax) (1) Male in non-breeding plumage. In shallow pond bordering Whicker Rd. approx 300 metres north of second gate, however the bird flushed and not relocated.
