Hi Lynne,
I have always had good luck and great views of them at Killarney Beach near 
Port Fairy. That said I haven't been there recently.

I have an urge to watch Sanderlings. We live in Castlemaine. Where would be the 
best place to go to give me the best chance of sitting somewhere and watching 
these guys dance up and down the beach?
