Grass owls in Ballina

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone can report any recent sightings of grass
owls in the Ballina area? I have read that these birds were seen earlier
this year in May at Cumbalum but this area of habitat has now been
destroyed by a new road and I wonder if anyone knows if they are still in
the area?
