Last Sunday night and early Monday morning Peter Merritt and I Photographed 3 White-throated Nightjars found up on a ironbark stony ridge in the Chiltern-Mt Pilot area while looking for Barking Owls. I was very excited as I have looked for this species on several occasions without luck. Just a note to say they were photographed using very long lenses as we did not want to disturb the birds.
