Hello Bill

Yes, the app will work on an iPod Touch with iOS5 or later as the operating
system.  The app is fully functional, including GPS for adding locations to
your bird sightings. You can also use My Location to get a bird list for
your current GPS location. Regional bird lists and birding site lists are
also available. The only thing that requires an online connection is the
background map, which can be preloaded if you have a wifi connection.
