Hi All,
I have not yet seen Rock Parrots in SA, but a quick look at Eremaea
suggest the best places are near Goolwa Barrage (start if the Coorong, I
think the dunes between the river estuary and the beach) and also
Hindmarsh Island (on the other side of the estuary), both fairly close
to Victor Harbor, and just about within that 90min radius.
Cheers, Ian

As I'm probably travelling to Adelaide for work next week are there any
good birding sites near Victor Harbor/Mt Compass areas? (probably won't
have much time to explore but if I get a few minutes....)
Any advice gratefully accepted....
Tom

Hi all,
I am having a long weekend in Adelaide this weekend, and wondered if there
was any up to date info on the nearest reliable spot in November (if any)
to look for Rock Parrots, within a 90 minute drive from Adelaide?
It's the only Neophema that I haven't seen yet so it would be a great bird
to get...
Also, where's the best place for the Adelaide Rosella - are they easy in
the CBD parks?
Cheers all - and thanks as ever,
Ed
