A friend photographed a wader at Werribee 2 weeks ago, and despite reviewing
all the field guides has been unable to put a name to this bird.

The closest we can come up with is a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper due to the brown
cap, but the bill looks too long, the legs too yellow, and the barring of the
wings and tail don't fit with anything in the field guides.

Thanks in anticipation of your feedback.
