The concerns over Waratah Coal's China First mine on Bimblebox Nature Refuge are summarised in Kathleen Noonan's article. http://goo.gl/5GV30Z Bimblebox Nature Refuge is known to provide important habitat for the EPBC-listed sp. Black-throated Finch (southern) and Squatter Pigeon (southern) as well as at least another 150 bird species which have been found there on various BirdLife surveys. The paperwork for the mine is sitting with the Federal Environment Minister right now. Please help us pressure Greg Hunt to reject the China First mine!
