Hi Birding-Aus,

Is there someone out there who has some experience with Black-tailed 
Native-Hens in captivity and can give some advice to Lena? See below.

Hey Nikolas,

thx, yes we're in Elliston in SA now. There's no vet here we have to take him 
to Port Lincoln I guess but that needs to wait a while because I'm working. I 
bandaged the broken wing onto him so at least thats not hanging on the ground 
anymore. We  gave him some snails and oats and water. Is that ok?
