Published sightings for the week ending 13 Oct 2013.

Wed 9 Oct Nankeen Night Heron Bells Parade, Latrobe
Eight birds, including one immature roosting in riverside canopy at this very reliable site. Numbers seem to be slowly increasing, whether by local breeding or augmentation from mainland, not known.

Satin Flycatcher Sykes Sanctuary, Railton
Very early. My records for last 30 years say species not usually seen in Tasmania (NW at least) till last 10 days of October or very early November.
