Prince Alfred College
Once again Night-Heron (6) feeding on front oval of school at night. Where do these birds roost during the day? The mangroves at Barker Inlet, a good 15km away? Or along the River Torrens?
Two fruit bats were flying around then settled into fig trees

White-throated Gerygone
Private property,Point Sturt Road.
White-throated Gerygone (1) Was amazed to find a sub-adult Gerygone foraging in our Mallee Box woodlot this morning!First detected by the call,then observed for 20 minutes from as little as 3 metres away! Photos obtained.

Eyrean Grasswren (8) FIrst found a party of five on side of road which when they saw us headed up onto the nearest sandhill... we followed and watched this group for a while then found three more on another dune nearby!
