Red Goshawk
The Atherton Tablelands is currently very active with raptors. Approximately 5 kilometers east of Tolga, we stopped to observe a Spotted Harrier over pasture. A tower of raptors was then spotted nearby. At the top, a Wedge-tailed Eagle, then lower down a Brown Goshawk, a Brown Falcon, 10 + Black Kite, and a single Red Goshawk. Within 10 minutes travel, the two Black Falcons were located in a loose aggregation of Black Kite.
