Hi all, Marlene and I went down to the WTP at Werribee yesterday and the waders have started to return. There were many more Red-necked Stints than a week ago and some are still in breeding plumage. A single Sharp-tailed Sandpiper with some breeding plumage was on Summer Lagoon 1 along with 5 Greenshanks, all still showing some breeding plumage. The Welcome Swallows are back feeding on larvae in the roadside pool outside the Western Lagoons. cheers Jenny http://jenniferspryausbirding.blogspot.com.au/ =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
