Large flock of Freckled Ducks in Broome

Hi all.

Freckled Ducks are pretty rare up in Broome with the largest count until recent 
being 3.

Last week I counted 23 on a local wetland.

Today however at the new Broome Sewerage works I counted 1345 Freckled Ducks.

A pretty large count for Australia but even more impressive being in an area 
where they don't usually occur.

At least some survived the hunting in Victoria.
