Hi Karen,

Birds of Northern Europe by BirdGuides is probably the most comprehensive with 
multiple illustrations, photos, calls and maps covering all the area you need 
plus text from the Concise Handbook to the birds of the Western Paleartic.

It's not quite as user-friendly as some of the other apps but has by far the 
most information and data available.

It has the names of birds in about 15 languages to which might be helpful for 
when you are out and about - but I don't think Icelandic is one of them.
