Good Afternoon Everyone I have just finished the rest of the photos from my Heard island trip and also put up a photo of the Northern Shoveler next to an Australian Shoveler, unfortunately the weather was not to flash the day I was there but it does show the plumage reasonably well. As for the Heard Island trip some of the other important species were Dark Morph Soft Plumage Petrel, South Georgian Diving Petrel, Fulmar and Slender-billed Prion, Kerguelen Petrel and the Brown Skuas we encountered at Amsterdam Island, also a photo of a Flying Fish just to finish with. I will do a full trip report in the coming weeks.
