Hi, the male Northern Shoveler showed itself well to many observers on 25 May on Borrie pond 8 (the first large pond on right of Paradise Road), swimming from one side to the other with a small group of Australasian Shovelers. Pink-eared Duck and Freckled Duck very numerous on same pond. 24 Black Kites attending a control burn in Borrie native grasslands; a White-bellied Sea-Eagle and a Spotted Harrier occasionally flushing the ducks. Cheers, Richard.
