G'day all Not sure how long this one has been available. Birds of Brazil. iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. 1800 species. Based on "The Birds of Brazil" (2009) by Ber van Perlo. Includes art, photos and calls (for about 400 species I think). Not as polished as some of the other field guide apps but it's only $13.99. I have no commercial interest in this.
