G'day All,

More big news in the Red Centre. This may sound ridiculous, but a friend's
wife has found a first for the Australian mainland list while hanging out
the laundry, in their suburban backyard in Alice Springs.

Any other wagtail might be tricky but the markings on this bird and the
side to side tail motion make the ID fairly straightforward. It has been
present for at least two mornings now.

A BARC submission will be prepared. Photographs and the full story are on
the blog at the following link:

.

Cheers,

Chris Watson
