Sat 27 Apr Painted Honeyeater, Yellow-tufted Honeyeater Mulligan's Flat Nature Reserve
I found a (silent) male Painted Honeyeater this morning just before noon in an area of extensive flowering Box Mistletoe (Amyema miquelii) about 250 m east of COG marker post #5, along the main track. About an hour later, 4 Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters flew over the same area from the northeast, calling loudly.

Yellow-billed Spoonbill (1) Single bird circled slowly over the dam before disappearing off to the northeast. Pale yellow spoon-shaped bill; tip appeared pinkish with the sun behind it.
