Birdline Australian Capital Territory

Published sightings for the week ending 31 Mar 2013.

Tue 26 Mar Pink Robin Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve
Pink Robin (2) Approx. 9.00am, 2 female robins observed foraging in a mixed group of thornbills, wrens & fantails. Very distinctive tan wing-bars & no white in the tail (Note-was in area not accessible to public)
Scott Ryan

Mon 25 Mar Yellow-faced Honeyeater Pine Island Reserve
20-30 moving out of the Tuggeranong suburbs into the dense eucalypt plantations above Pine Island, apparently the start of the outward migration. Peregrine circling overhead forced them down into the canopy, so I didn't see further movement.
Ian Fraser

Birdline Australian Capital Territory is hosted by Eremaea Birds.
