G'day all

I vote for capitalisation. I have the same issue with plant names. Journals
will not publish capitalised common names of pasture species. There is only
one Annual Ryegrass (Lolium rigidum) but several annual ryegrasses. L.
rigidum, multiflorum, persicum and temulentum are all usually annuals.

On grammar - a referee recently suggested that in a colleague's paper "there
are a number of grammatical errors"
