The winds are increasing from the east and the sea is getting rough… it's still quite a long way away but Cyclone Rusty's effects are being felt already here in the Pilbara. Anyway, every now and then I see birds doing unexpected things and I was watching Marsh Terns flying low over the spinifex grasslands for half and hour or more… what were they thinking? That and an Eastern Osprey… and other things.
