Little Curlew
Pine Creek Township
Little Curlew (1) 1 individual 'grazing' for insects on mowed grass parkland near old mine museum adjacent to 'lazy lizard'. Flew and circled when first disturbed, but landed closer to park and continued to feed through short grass and slowly move within 30metres from me. Bino filling views and positive ID.

Australian Shelduck
Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Ponds
Australian Shelduck (1) Still here! Dozing on the dike between EP1 and EP2. Photographed.
Sorry, this isn't his best side! He was asleep, and of course I wouldn't disturb him just for a photo.

Australian Shelduck, Pied Cormorant, Intermediate Egret, Royal Spoonbill, Long-toed Stint
Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Ponds
Australian Shelduck, presumably the same bird that has been here a few days.
Pied Cormorant (1) A6. First record for me at this site, and not recorded here very often. Photographed.
Intermediate Egret (1) Breeding plumage on the road north of EP10. Photographed.
Royal Spoonbill (1) Feeding in centre of EP7. First record I've had here for a long time. Photographed.
Long-toed Stint (1) Located quickly in EP10 feeding near Sharpies. Photographed, but still quite jumpy.

Australian Shelduck
Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Ponds
Australian Shelduck (1) Originally seen in A6 out on the water, dwarfing the Hardheads. I'm not familiar enough with the plumage of this species to sex or age it, but it had a slightly scruffy appearance suggesting some level of moult. Last seen roosting on the westernmost island of EP10.
