White-winged Black Tern's name

Maybe I have missed something here. Why is there no hyphen as in
White-winged Black-Tern, rather than White-winged Black Tern? There is a
hyphen on other composite group names e.g. Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo,
Bronze-Cuckoos, Reed-Warbler, etc.
