Hoary-headed Grebe introduced to Australia

first record for NZ was 1975 but it is a self-introduced species, very 
different to a (human-)introduced species! They established tentatively but 
petered out and are now scarce I believe.

As far as I know it is a Australian endemic introduced to NZ in 1975!
