They are stunning little Peacocks!! (Ignore the erroneous Gliding stuff some
websites and books mention. This is wrong)
I have watched the males (Maratus rainbowi) doing mating displays and (3
males) triangulating the drab hidden females in my front yard in Coburg,
Melb. Also seen them in gardens in Geelong, Hastings and other places. They
live in a grassy woodland type habitat on the ground amongst the litter.
