Baillon's Crake, Latham's Snipe
Goulds Lagoon, Granton
Baillon's Crake (1) Seen from bird hide on exposed mud to north of hide and clearly photographed. Tail was mainly held up (regarding discussion in other lists about this).
Latham's Snipe (1) On the mud at the north end of main lagoon. Almost got a decent photo but just as I was about to take it the dogs saw me and started barking and it flew away :(.
