One located by persistent call on return to car after hour's search. 0900 about 400m up first side road (22 44'18"S 117 51'02"E) on left side of SE approach road to Tom Price (floodway between road and railway).

Pectoral Sandpiper
Northern Hwy, 50km s Meekatharra, Western Australia
One foraging on mud edges of shallow stock dam or floodway approx. 100 m in from west side of highway. Viewed thru scope from 50m. With Avocet, Pink eared Duck, Crimson & Orange Chat, White backed Swallow and other birds as well as cattle coming in for drink. Only sandpiper present. About 1500hrs. 40-plus degrees. 26 56' 44"S 118 15' 01"E.

Ruff, Pectoral Sandpiper, Black-tailed Godwit, Marsh Sandpiper, White-winged Black Tern and Glossy I
Lake McLarty, Western Australia
A Reeve, a Pectoral Sandpiper (possibly 2), 2 Black-tailed Godwits, a Marsh Sandpiper, a White-winged Black Tern and 17 Glossy Ibis were today's highlights at Lake McLarty with the water level dropping.
